Gabriel Halt was a supervisory special agent with the FBI's Behavioural Analysis Unit. After JJ was murdered, Gabriel replaced her as the new profiler.
Background[]
Gabriel Fredrick Halt was born on September 22, 1969 in Los Angeles. Gabriel was close to his younger brother Randall and they were inseparable. Their parents died when Gabriel was 11 and Randall was 8 and they were sent to live with their grandparents. In 1985, there was a fire at the school they were attending. Randall's legs were crushed under fallen debris. Though he tried, Gabriel was unable to save Randall and Randall was seemingly killed. The guilt of Randall's death would continue to haunt him for many years. When Gabriel was 24, he joined the Behavioural Analysis Unit as a special agent. Gabriel also became good friends with Jennifer. 5 years after becoming an BAU agent, Gabriel married his girlfriend Skye and the two had a son, who he named Henry.
